Hi guys,

Shall I kill these emoticons? I kind of like them. What do you think?

Are our topics too serious for emoticons?

Thanks,
Rubina

In my opinion I think you should kill them...not necessarily because of the subject matter but that they are so overused these days!

I wouldn't kill emoticons. I love them.

I also like emoticons. They make me smile every time, although I don't use them.

I don't mind the smilies - sometimes they help to show the mood, which does not always come across when communicating online. If someone does not want to use them, then they can ignore them!

Yes. If you want to have discussions of substance on your site, drop them.
